??????針對新型冠狀病毒感染的肺炎疫情，山東省于1月25日啟動了重大突發公共衛生事件一級響應，堅決遏制疫情傳播擴散蔓延勢頭。在威海市委、市政府統一部署下，我市新型冠狀病毒感染肺炎疫情防控工作正在有序開展。為確保外國朋友在威期間的健康安全，謹向在威外國朋友發出以下倡議：

??????1、及時關注權威信息發布。關注權威媒體發布的信息，如“人民日報”“威海發布”“健康威海”等微信公眾號以及威海市衛生健康委員會官方網站（http://wsjkw.weihai.gov.cn/），了解威海市各地救治定點醫院信息和聯系方式、有關疫情防控措施以及重要通知公告等。不信謠，不傳謠。

??????2、加強衛生防護。居家注意適當開窗通風，保持良好的個人衛生習慣，勤洗手，多飲水。咳嗽、打噴嚏時務必使用紙巾或肘部捂住口鼻，不隨地吐痰，廢棄口罩按規定規范投放。避免接觸任何野生動物或禽類動物，肉類和蛋類請徹底煮熟后食用。

??????3、盡量減少外出。盡量避免到封閉、空氣不流通的公眾場所和人員密集場所，暫停聚會等聚集性活動，外出時自覺佩戴口罩。一旦您或您的家人出現有發熱、乏力、干咳等呼吸系統癥狀，請戴好口罩到指定的醫療機構發熱門診就診。 前往醫院路上，需要佩戴醫用外科口罩，避免乘坐公共交通工具。

??????4、配合聯防聯控。當政府、社區和醫療機構人員做疫情防控登記詢問時，請予理解和配合。如果近期曾到武漢等疫情高發地區或接觸疫區人員，請第一時間向當地疾控機構或指定部門報告，并自行居家隔離不少于14天。隔離期間，密切注意身體情況，定期測量體溫，保持生活規律和良好的心態。

An Open Letter to All Foreign Residents in Weihai

In order to fight for pneumonia caused by novel coronavirus and effectively stop the spread of the epidemic, Shandong Province has launched the first level response to major public health emergencies since January 25th. Under the unified arrangement of the CPC Weihai Committee and Weihai Municipal People’s Government, the prevention and control of pneumonia caused by novel coronavirus is being carried out in an orderly way. To ensure the health and safety of all foreign residents during their stay in Weihai, we would like to send the following initiatives to foreign residents:

I. Timely pay attention to the release of authoritative information. Follow information released by authoritative media, such as the WeChat official accounts of “People’s Daily”, “Weihai Release”, “Healthy Weihai” and official website of Weihai Health Commission (http://wsjkw.weihai.gov.cn/”). Acquire the information and contact information of designated hospitals in Weihai, and relevant epidemic prevention and control measures and important notices. Neither believe in rumors nor spread them.

II. Strengthen Health Protection. Keep proper ventilation at home and good personal hygiene habits such as washing hands frequently.and drinking water regularly. When coughing or smeezing, always cover your mouth and nose with a tissue or an elbow. Do not spit everywhere, and put the discarded mask in accordance with the regulations. Avoid contact with any wild animals or poultry. Meat and eggs shoud be cooked thoroughly before eating.

III. Minimize Outdoor Activities. Try to avoid the closed and airless public places and densely populated places, and stop gathering activities such as parties and wear masks when going out. If you or your family members have respiratory symptoms such as fever, fatigue, dry cough, etc., please wear a mask to the fever clinic of the designated medical institution. On the way to the hospital, you need to wear medical surgical masks and avoid public transportation.

IV. Cooperate with joint defense and control. Please understand and cooperate with the government, community and medical institutions when they conduct the registration and inquiry of epidemic prevention and control. If you have been to Wuhan and other high epidemic areas or contacted with people in the epidemic area recently, please report to local CDC or designated department as soon as possible.
